We are now offering Landscape Supplies for all your garden projects big or small.

We have a wide range of products from topsoil, mulches, compost, garden mix, barks, crushed shell, river stones, decorative pebbles and landscape boulders. Some products are in bulk (sold per 1/4, 1/2 or 1m3) or in large bags for your convenience.

We also stock peastraw bales, railway sleepers and ponga logs. Peastraw helps to enrichen garden soil with nitrogen keeping your plants healthy and your soil weed free. Railway sleepers and ponga logs are great for garden edging, fencing or a decorative garden feature in any landscape.

We are now stocking wood smoking splits - in manuka, rewarewa and apple wood. The wood splits are great for pizza ovens and offset smokers, conveniently split and boxed... ready to go. Please see our 'wood smoking flavour chart' attached below for flavour and best meat/food pairing recommendations!

We also stock bagged Bitumend Coldmix for repairing potholes & asphalt reinstatements in roads, carparks & driveways.

We have a range of metal options for the tradies too - AP20 (blue greywacke), drainage metal, builders mix, crusher dust, sand, scoria, shingle, pumice and more.

We can do customised orders for specialised products, such as green roof mix and certified playground bark. We can also order other products required direct from our suppliers, that are not currently stocked in our yard (rotten rock, scalpings, compost for orchards etc.).

Black Mulch

Black Mulch - a light weight woodchip, that matts together allowing heavy rain to disperse through and under the mulch layer. Safe and ecofriendly, it assists plants to flourish by inhibiting weed growth, keeping the soil surface cool and assists in moisture retention whilst reducing the need to water. Looks good and a great contrast to other elements in your garden.

Crushed Shell

Crushed Shell - a coastal classic to add the feel of the ocean in your garden. Ideal for pathways, decorative gardens and petanque courts. This shell gets whiter as it ages. Derived primarily from crushed mussell shell. Coromandel shell whilst largely white in colour has some light browntones that adds to its rustic charm.

Gamman's Premium Compost

Premium Compost - this is new product from Gamman's. It is a premium soil conditioner, it includes sheep pellets, lime, dolomite, Hauraki peat and nitrogen stabilised bark fines. Mix with fresh top soil or your existing garden soil to condition it.

Natural Shingle - a grey, river pebble. Ideal for pathways, driveways and small gardens with good draining.

Limestone Chip

LimeStone Chip - this beautiful white stone comes from the middle of the North Island and is a very popular stone. It is often used as a decorative, contrasting role in driveways and gardens.

Ideal in sunny locations, not full shade. However if the colour changes due to a lack of sunlight, a quick spray with white vinegar using your garden sprayer will neutralize it’s alkaline qualities and bring it back to white.

Topsoil - screened/unscreened

Unscreened topsoil - this is a good quality topsoil, ideal for lawns and garden beds. As it is unscreened, it may have the odd clump of grass, but it is a rich dark topsoil, sourced locally. Come in and view.

Screened topsoil - this will be good quality topsoil imported outside of our area. Ideal for lawns and garden beds.

Daltons Premium Garden Mix is a natural blend of organic ingredients for use as a soil conditioner, garden booster or planter mix. Blended from 100% weed-free materials, Daltons Premium Garden Mix is perfect for all gardens. Great for your raised garden and growing veggies!

Contains controlled release fertiliser that feeds plants for up to 4 months.
Contains wetting agent to ensure uniform wetting of mix and improved moisture penetration to roots.
Increases organic matter in all soil types.
Improves soil structure and drainage.
Enhances sandy soils and increases water holding capacity.
Acts as a clay breaker in heavy soil types.

Builders Mix

Mixture of metal stone, fines and sands, which when added to water and cement will make concrete.

Contains round pebbles which are great for finishing, as easy to screed off as no sharp edges.

Crusher Dust/ No 2 Sand

Fine aggregate sand that compacts to create a strong, sturdy surface, also known as Gap 7. Goes rock hard with water and compaction, and great to stop weeds growing.

Often used for native bush tracks, or a base layer under pavers, and foundations of driveways, concrete pads.

Alternative (when not in stock) is No 2 Sand.

Motu Stone Medium - an attractive blueish grey pebble, derived from the Motu River. Great for drainage and gardens. These stones are 20mm - 40mm size.

Nuhaka Pebble is a coastal, river pebble from Nuhaka, and also known as “Brightwater Pebble.” It has a greyish blue flat appearance.
This pebble will enhance the décor of your garden beds and paths. Also great as a drainage pebble.

Peastraw Bales

Peastraw - is a natural mulch and soil conditioner that is high in nitrogen, which enriches your soil keeping your plants healthy and your soil weed free. It also helps the soil to retain moisture (up to 60%), provides a barrier to protect the soil from frost, sun and wind helping to reduce stress on the plants and improve overall growth and health.

It is also great eco-friendly decor for outdoor events, such as weddings, birthday celebrations and more.

We have also changed our opening hours/days during the Autumn/Winter months. Our Landscape Supplies yard will only be open on Saturday's, for a set time (eg. 9-10am) if prior arrangement is made by the Friday before. Ponga Logs

Ponga Logs - these are a natural product, harvested from a sustainable supply. They are approx. 2.4m long. Ponga logs can be used as garden edging, fencing or as a feature in your garden. They can continue to grow in the right conditions, adding lovely soft green foliage to your garden.
